Our Day At The Beach!

Today was such a nice day, the boys and I went to Devonport. We took Noey's bike so he could ride it around the bike track, it was so great. We had such an awesome day!

A Great Weekend!

I have had the best weekend, lots of fun! I'm so worn out though that there isn't going to be much typing here, I'm off to bed to catch up on my sleep!
Friday I went and did something I have wanted to do for ages...I got my nose pierced! He he he :-) Thanks Dani for all your help...even if you did freak me out by talking about NEEDLES all day :-P
Friday night Amy came round and we had a few drinks, a bit of girl time was exactly what I needed. The last few weeks have been total crappola and it was just what I needed to cheer myself up!
Saturday the boys and I went to Launceston and hung out with Trav and Megan all afternoon. Noah had the best time playing Superheroes with Trav, he's the best Uncle ever :-)
And Saturday night by wonderful Mum and Dad looked after the boys for the night while I had some time out. So I went to Miss Amy's and we had some drinks. It was so much fun just the two of us! Before we knew it, it was 12.30pm so we did a mad dash for the pub before it shut! There was hardly anyone out, I think the two of us made up half the number of girls there! But we had the best time hanging out with the boys, lots of drinks and lots of laughs!
And today...today Chantelle came home!!! Yay!!! I was so excited to see her!!
So that was my awesome weekend, I hope the week will be as equally as good!

Bath Time Fun - Spike One & Spike Two!!

The Spiderman Office....

Yesterday Noah and I finally got around to re-doing his room. Out with Bob The Builder, in with Spiderman. We moved his bed around and hung up his posters, popped on the new doona cover and stuck up the glow-in-the-dark Spiderman stickers. It was so much fun! And now Noah refers to his room as his "Spiderman Office"! Apparently it's where "Spiderman teaches all the other super heroes how to use their powers properly"...ha ha ha...just call to make an appointment :-)

Peek-A-Boo!

This is Kaiden when he woke up this morning...or should I say this afternoon! The lazy little thing didn't get out of bed until 12.10pm! Thats over 13 hours of sleep! He has been doing that the last week or so, really massive sleeps overnight. And he is still having a three or four hour sleep in the afternoon as well. I can't complain can I, he's a star!

And look how happy he was this morning, we played peek-a-boo for about 20 minutes. I love Kaiden so much, he always makes me smile. I know I'm biased but I think he is just the cutest thing ever! And the best part is, he's all mine :-)

Launceston Show!

Yesterday we went to the Launceston Show...Noah had a great time on the big slide! He spent half the afternoon on it! Kaiden enjoyed it too...you should have seen the big smile on his face! And of course we all enjoyed the Donuts - YUM YUM YUM!!!
It was a fun afternoon, I think Noah really enjoyed himself. After that we went to Seaport Fish and Chips for tea with Trav - it was so delicious! It's one of my favourite places to eat!

Just To Make You All Laugh.....

Noah has been so funny lately! He comes up with the funniest things to say and do, the faces he pulls are hilarious! He truly is so entertaining!!

Piggy Piggy...

Kaiden is the biggest little garbage I have ever seen! He will eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. I swear he can smell food because as soon as someone is eating something, Kaiden will suddenly appear out of nowhere and climb onto the couch to help you eat it.

This is him eating Noah's breakfast the other day while I was in the shower and Noah was off doing something. He ate one and a half pieces of toast - Noah ate half a piece! This boy is going to start hiking up our grocery bill soon I can tell!!

Standing Kaiden!!

Kaiden has really gotten a grasp of this standing up thing...he is constantly pulling himself up on the couch or anything he can get a hold of really! He is looking so tall now! He has started to walk along holding onto the couch, I'm sure it won't be long until he is walking on his own...where has my baby gone?!

What On Earth Is Happening To Me....

Look at my hair!! And no it hasn't broken off and I haven't attacked it with the scissors! This is NEW HAIR growing!!! How weird is that?? I guess it beats going bald, but still. Who grows new hair like this and who grows this much?! I hope it keeps going though and doesn't stay this short....

Happy Birthday To Me...

To say this years birthday was kinda crap would be an understatement.....it was basically non-existent. No celebrations, no surprises, nothing. Noah didn't even know it was my birthday until I told him because no one else bothered to. Yes I know, I'm having a whinge. It's my birthday - I'm entitled to.

So I went and got myself a present, something that I know everyone else already has but I didn't - I went and got my ears pierced! Noah and Kaiden came with me and sat on the floor at my feet, they were angels :-) So that was my excitment for this birthday...

This week has been a bad, bad week. One of those times when you think things are about as bad as they are going to get only to have something else happen that just takes the cake. But this morning I woke up and checked out my favourite blogs, only to read this post by Steph....

Lastly, I’d love to pass this award to Robyn because she is such a loving momma and you can tell through her writing, videos, and pictures that she’s just plain good at this whole mommy thing!

Thank you so much Steph, you managed to put a smile on my face and say exactly what I needed to hear :-) Maybe this is a sign that things are going to get better some time soon....

Quick Update!

I've been a bit lazy in the blogging deaprtment lately. I've been sick now for three weeks, I can't seem to shake whatever this bug is that I have. One minute I feel fine and the next I feel completely naucious. It's really getting to me, I'm so over it! Little buggy, you can leave now :-(
Both the kidlets have a cold, Kaiden in particular. He is so blocked up and chesty, poor little fella.
Today Kaiden went to the physio and she gave him the all clear - hooray for that! He is moving around fine now and doing everything he should be for his age. So that means no more physio, no more heart specialist, NOTHING! He is a normal little boy finally :-)
Noah has had his first heart break. Montanna had a few nasty words to say last week and they haven't spoken since...and instead of an apology her parents have put up a 10 foot fence. Mmm....What is with that?? Is it just me or does that seem totally ridiculous and just plain rude? Strange. But like a true champion, Noah has moved on and gotten himself a new girlfriend, Layla. And I very much approve! She is a gorgeous little thing, big brown eyes and olive skin - a little hottie ;-)
Tomorrow is my Mum's birthday so I want to wish her a very happy birthday!! And today it was my birthday, Kaiden and I had a lovely day in town together :-) I didn't really do anything else but I did get some gorgeous pressies and my wonderful mother-in-law made me birthday cake....which she forgot to bring up today! But she is cooking me a scrumptious tea on Thursday night and I will be sure to have my cake then! Cross fingers I'm not feeling sick then...
