Merry Christmas!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas day! Ours was quite relaxed this year for a change, it was great! We had lunch at our house with my Mum and Dad and tea at Craig's Mum and Dad's. The kids got absolutely spoilt!! I hardly took any photo's but here are a few, I will write more later!!

Get Well Soon Gran...
Craig's Gran is in hospital at the moment, we went down to see her today. Noah talked and talked away, he absolutely adores Gran. Whenever we go out he always asks to go and visit her. I think it cheered her up a bit to see him and Kaiden. I hope you're feeling better soon Gran :-)
Gran and baby KaidenToddle In Christmas Party!
On Thursday Noahs daycare had their end of year christmas party. It was so much fun! There were so many people there which was excellent. The kiddies had a surprise visit from Santa and then they all put on a little performance for everyone, singing Six White Boomers. It was so cute!
All the kids from the big room got a little memory book with photo's and things they had made from throughout the year in it. It is such a nice thing to have to keep. Noah has had an absolute ball at "Toddling Inn" this year. He has made some great friends and, of course, gotten himself a new little girlfriend - Layla :-) It's a pitty he won't be at Kinder with her next year, although he has already found himself another one there in Lauren! Noah the ladies man :-P
Kaiden's Birthday Party!
We had a little party for Kaiden on Saturday, just friends and family over for a bbq lunch. Kaiden hated it. Every single second of it!!! He had only been out of bed for about an hour before people started arriving and by 12.30pm he was back in his bedroom hiding! Anti-social little thing! 4.30pm he decided to get out of bed...everyone except my neice and nephew had gone home! So no one saw him, I got no photo's and all his presents were still wrapped. He's no fun at all!! But we all had a great party, Noah had the best time playing with all the kids. So we celebrated his birthday, even if Kaiden wasn't interested in it!!
Saturday night Paul and Diana came around and Noah had such a great time playing with Yasmin and Zoe. It was such a fun night! Lots of drinks and lots and lots of laughs!!! Can't wait to post the video's ;-)

Just In Time...
Tomorrow is Kaiden's first birthday...and this afternoon he took his FIRST STEP!!! It was so cute! He was just standing there, which he has only just started to do in the last couple of days, and then he moved his little left foot forward!! Clever boy :-)

Weight Update...12 MONTHS OLD!!!!
This morning I took Kaiden for his monthly weigh-in...I can't believe he is 12 months old already!
Noah at 12 months
Weight - 11.2kg Length - 79cm HC - 49.5cm Teeth - 5
Kaiden at 12 months
Weight - 10.16kg Length - 76.5cm HC - Teeth - 7!
Kaiden really needs to have a growth spurt sometime very soon to catch up to Noah hey! At 12 months Noah was just above the 75th percentile for his height and weight, but Kaiden is just below the 50th percentile for both. Funny though, Kaiden's head is almost in the 97th percentile and Noah's was that far above it it wasn't funny! Why do they both have big boof heads?!
Isn't it amazing how much a baby grows in just one year. Kaiden has grown 27.5cm and put on almost 7.5kg!! He has gone from 00000 clothes to size 1 and he now has 7 teeth.
He can walk around the furniture and he has just started standing on his own. He can throw a ball better than his brother!
When he smiles and laughs, his eyes light up. And when he frowns his eyebrows almost touch!
He is a really shy little thing, he won't let anyone hold him other than myself and Craig. Which I actually kinda like, he's still my little baby :-)
I love it when he says Mum and then gives me his little grin! I can't imagine what life was like without him. I am so lucky to have such a gorgeous, happy, healthy little boy!
Now only two more sleeps until his birthday....
