Happy 6th Birthday Lachie!!!

Birthday Graphics

Yesterday was Lachie's 6th birthday...I can't believe he is 6 already!! We went out to visit him and Noah had a great time playing with Lachie and Hayley. Kaiden just wandered around and destroyed everything he could get his grotty little hands on! Ha ha! It was a fun afternoon!

Library Day...

Today Noah had his first trip to the school library - and he was so excited! He got his very own Deloraine Primary School library bag and he got to pick out a book all on his own to bring home for the weekend. We have already read the book five times :-)
It's so nice to see him starting to enjoy school. He has made some more friends and was quite proud this afternoon telling me that when they had to line up to go to the library, he held hands with Lauren! How cute!! He and Lauren have really taken to each other, they are always sitting together, eating their lunch together, they even lay down together at rest time....I didn't ask if they "spoon" or not :-P Ha ha ha!

Sleepy Banger....

Giggle Pot!

The Big Chop!!

Kaiden had his first haircut this morning! He is getting so grown up :-(

But hopefully this will make it clear to all those strangers who keep thinking HE is a SHE!!!
Ha ha ha!!

Bed Time....

Here is Noah's new sleeping arrangement. The last few weeks we have been having the bad dreams, the not wanting to be alone, having to leave the light on and, most recently, the sleeping in my bed :-(
I am NOT a fan of kids sleeping in my room, let alone my bed. So it had to stop! I think maybe it was just the big change of going to school and Noah feeling a bit unsettled. He hasn't been himself all week, even at Kids Paradise he wasn't happy. And on Tuesday morning when I took him to school, we had a few tears because he didn't want to stay.
But when I picked him up that afternoon he was a bit brighter and told me how he had made a new friend. And while I was in town I bought him a very special present - his own little radio. So my Mum gave him a relaxing cd to listen to at bedtime which she told him "was special music to keep the bad dreams away" , plus I bought him some more glow in the dark stars for his ceiling so he could look at them when he goes to bed. All this, combined with leaving his lamp on of course, WORKED!
I don't know if it's because he is happier at school or the cd or what but he is back in his own bed, no more bad dreams and no more sleepness nights.
Hooray!

Rub-A-Dub-Dub...Two Boys In The Tub!

There has been a big change at my house this month. The boys have decided, all on their own I might add, that baths are out and showers are in! It's been amazing. Kaiden no longer squirms around trying to walk in the bath, he can stand and hold on to the bath spout while I hose him off! And Noah will VOLUNTARILY wash his hair with the shower hose. No screams about water in the eyes, no slipping over, no anything!! It's heaven :-)

Family Photo :-)

A few weeks ago we had some professional photo's done. They were so EXPENSIVE that we didn't order any, even though they were fantastic. But we did get this one for free. It's nice to have one of all of us!

Kids Paradise!!

Today Craig and I took the boys to the new Kids Paradise, it was so much fun!!

So Sweet....

Anyone with kids knows that when there is silence for any length of time, it usually means TROUBLE. So when I was cooking tea last night and realised I hadn't heard the boys for awhile, I went to see what kind of mischief they were up to....and look what I found! No trouble, no doing something they shouldn't be - they were curled up on Kaiden's little couch together watching Hi5. SO SWEET!!! :-)

Official School Boy!

Today is Noah's first day at Kinder - doesn't he look cute!! It was kind of sad to leave him there, I didn't think it would be but it was! He's so grown up now, it's hard to believe he is ready for school.

Swimming Sunday...

Yesterday afternoon the boys and I went to Chantelle's for a swim, and it was so much fun! Noah had a great time floating around the pool and practicing his "swimming". Thanks for letting us use your pool Chantelle :-)
