Quick Update Of What's Happening In Our World...

Now where to start?! Well...

Craig has just been to the bank and our house plans are going through as we speak - starting next week!! How exciting! I can't wait, it will be great when it's all finished. Although when they start doing the internal stuff, we have to move out which is going to such a hassle. But we can't stay here, especially with all the dust. Not to mention that our bedroom is the only room that isn't going to have anything done to it. So we'll be packing up our things in a few weeks and going to...wait for it...my Mum and Dad's! Oh know, it's going to be bad I know it. There will be six of us under one roof, not good! I'm very grateful that they don't mind, its going to be a major hassle for them too I know. But as everyone knows - once you move out you can NEVER go back!!

Noah is starting to be Mister Attitude - I think it's the terrible three's! You always hear about the terrible two's but everyone I know who has three year old's agrees that it's definitely the terrible three's! I loved it when Noah was two! But he's pretty good now really, he's just starting to get a mind of his own and to stand up for himself. Although when we were in ToyWorld the other day he wouldn't come because he was too busy looking at something and when I told him to hurry up he pointed at me and told me to "bugger off"....CHARMING!!!

Kaiden has started sleeping ALL NIGHT! Yay for us! He only ever got up once through the night anyway and he always went straight back but now, he manages to make it through to the morning. It's fantastic!

And me, well I actually was brave enough to get on the scales the other day and hooray - I've lost 17kg!! It's amazing how much weight you put on when you think that Kaiden only weighed 2.5kg. Where does the rest go?? Anyway, I was very excited! 3kg more and I will be back to normal and very VERY happy! It's so nice when, after 9months of nothing fitting, you can actually get into your pre-baby clothes and go shopping for normal clothes. Although Craig might not be so happy after he gets the credit card statement ;-)

Poppy George's Birthday - Part One!

Yesterday we went to Poppy George's 80th Birthday. Noah had a great time! Aunty Di is definatley his new best friend :-) I think nearly everyone had a cuddle of Kaiden. The boys were definatley a big hit! And as you can tell, Noah just loved the birthday cake!

Kaiden's New High Chair

This would have to be the best thing we've ever bought for him! He loves it! It's really good because it reclines so he can sort of lay in it at the moment but still see everything. Great for when I need to take a shower or cook tea because I can still talk to him and entertain him without having to pick him up and carry him around. And obviously he likes it too - he fell asleep in it the other night and stayed there for over an hour!!

Here's a picci of my friend's gorgeous baby girl, Imogen. Isn't she so cute!! She's only six days older than Kaiden but she looks heaps more grown up than him. He certainly hasn't given us a big smile like that yet!

So Sad

I reckon everyone is in shock today after reading that Anna Nicole Smith has passed away. I couldn't believe it when I read it on the internet this morning, it really is so sad. I can't say I was a great fan of her's - she was a bit of a ditz i thought! But still, what about her little girl. She's only 5months old! And she still doesn't know who her real father is...I hope it all gets sorted soon and she can try and live some kind of "normal" life. Although I doubt that will happen...

This Was Pretty Impressive!!

This is Craig when we went for a walk last night - he managed to make it half way up the hill before he handed the pram over. I thought he did a pretty good job getting both kids up that far!!

Living Proof Kids Pick Up On Everything...

Craig walked in to the lounge last night to discover Noah laying on the couch doing this - no prizes for working out what he's doing! As Noah put it, it was his "fire stick"...Craig's Gran is the only person we know who smokes, so looks like that's where he's picked it up from. Tut, tut, tut....

Aunty Di!

Yesterday we went in to Launceston and took Noey swimming at Windmill Hill. It was so hot!! Then we went to Poppy George's house to visit Aunty Di. She hadn't seen Kaiden yet so there were lots of cuddles of course :-) And Noah helped Poppy George and Poppy Daz put up the new shade thingy - what do you call them?! Anyway, it was lots of fun!!

Finally...

Finally I have a photo of the three of us!! We went to Devonport yesterday and had lunch at the park, Noah was going snap-happy taking photo's of everything! I won't post them all but there were lots of the birds and the grass!
