Phones, Chocolate And Car Rides...

When we went to get groceries the other day, Noah picked out three things to put in the trolley...strawberries, coke and this little phone for Kaiden! Isn't he the sweetest big brother EVER! Here is Noah helping Kaiden "talk to Santa" because "you have to tell Santa what you want for christmas or he won't know what to bring...tell him you want a Black Spiderman toy Kaiden"! Ha ha, sneaky little thing :-)

Here is Kaiden helping me make chocolate brownie - YUM YUM!!!

And this is after he had licked his spoon clean and I took it off him - this kid seriously has issues with anyone who gets between him and his food...

Finally, check out the chubby bubby...He reminds me of Harold from Neighbours in this photo...

Hallelujah Hooley Dooley's!

Craig, like all good Daddies, announced tonight he was going to bed.

Noah, like all good kiddies, wanted to go and "tuck Daddy in".

Robyn, like all good Mummies, took baby Kaiden in so he didn't miss out.

Craig, like all good Daddies, decided to wrestle the kids on our bed.

Noah, like all good kiddies, got totally hyped up.

Kaiden, like all good kiddies, got totally hyped up as well.

Craig, like all good Daddies, then decided to turn the light off and go to sleep.

Robyn, like all good Mummies, had the job of calming down two hyperactive children at 10pm.

Thank goodness for the Hooley Dooley's.

Good night!!

Rain, Rain, Rain...

It has been raining here all week. Today it was actually quite nice so we went to the park for a little while. Look how under water it was! There was certainly no picnicing on the tables that's for sure!

Noah made nice friends with a little boy. I don't even know his name and Noah can't remember! But they spent over an hour running around like mad things together!

Everyone always complains when it rains all the time...but I have liked it this week! Maybe because we have all been sick and Craig has also been at work every day. The kids have, on occasions, driven me mental with the constant "Muuuuummmm"'s, but it has been nice to curl up on the couch and watch a movie with Noah without feeling guilty about the big pile of washing sitting in my laundry!

So here's to a bit more rain...summer will be here soon enough so I think we should enjoy the crappy weather. In a few months we will be complaining because it is too hot!

Tummy Time Fun!

Kaiden has begun to really enjoy his tummy time...finally! He spends ages on the floor now, rolling backwards and forwards. It is amazing how far he can get in such a small amount of time, especially without crawling or even shuffling. He just wiggles himself around, chasing whatever toys he can lay his eyes (and hands) on! I don't think it will be very long at all until he is crawling. He is starting to get himself up onto either his hands and his toes, or his knees and his head - he hasn't quite mastered the hands and knees combo yet! But he trying!

I didn't realise how un-baby-proof my house has become in the last three years. I have to constantly make sure now that none of Noah's little cars are on the floor, that none of my hair pins are laying about, or anything else he can put in his mouth!

I can't believe how fast he is growing up. It seems to have flown by so much more quickly than when Noah was this little. It is amazing watching him now, his little grins and cheeky giggles make my heart melt. He is such a happy and content baby, last night he layed on the floor for 3 hours! That was 3 hours with no dummy, no entertaining, nothing. He rolled around and amused himself the entire time. Craig got home from work at 7pm and when he went to go to bed at 9.45pm he realised he hadn't even given Kaiden a cuddle all day! I love happy Kaiden, he is so sweet. I love cranky Kaiden too...but I much prefer him when he is in a wonderful mood :-)

A Special Sneak Peak For My Fabulous Fellow Bloggers :-)

Here are my invites for Kaiden's Christening and for Noah's Spiderman Birthday Party...Aren't they gorgeous! I am totally in love with them, I have been staring at them all day!
I haven't posted them yet, I want to try and get little magnets to stick onto the backs but I'm not sure where I would get them from. They may have to go without :-(
*Sigh*
But I think they are great anyway, and Noah loves his Spiderman invite! Very happy people here at my house! Now I just have to organise the food....

Poor Nosey...

Little Noah is sick. It just hit him this morning. And I mean hit him. Like a brick. The poor guy couldn't even stand up properly.

He woke up and said his ear was sore but that was it, he seemed fine. The at about 12pm he just started screaming that his ear was sore, he felt so hot it was unbelievable, and he just wasn't with it. He couldn't even hold his head up properly. So off we went to the Doctor. His temp was 39.5 and he had a nasty ear infection. I'm so glad we got straight in to see the Doctor, and Noah even got three snakes for being so brave :-)

So I've given him one dose of antibiotics and one shot of Nurofen, and he seems much better already. Thank goodness.

It was so scary to see him like that. He was really just totally out of it. While we were waiting at the chemist we sat down on some chairs because he just couldn't stand up. And he wanted to wait there while I went and paid...When I turned around he had fallen asleep in the middle of the pharmacy. It really freaked me out because he was so sound asleep, I had to carry him back to the car!

The poor little man, I hope he feels better soon. And maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me but I suddenly feel like I am getting the flu as well....The week keeps getting better :-(

I have jumped on the bandwagon and joined mySpace....I have no idea what I'm doing, I much prefer blogging! But if any of you guys have mySpace feel free to "be my friend" :-)

Mummy And Banger...By Noah :-)

Strange, Strange, Strange...

Here is Kaiden asleep in his cot yesterday...

And yes this is still Kaiden asleep -

with his eyes open!
He does this a lot, but this is the worst (is that the right word?!) I have seen him. He had his eyes almost fully open, and his little eye balls were moving around so much. It really freaks me out. Especially when he stares at me yet I know he isn't actually seeing me.

And this is him after I had to wake him up.

He was in such a deep sleep I practically had to yell at him. I moved him around, unwrapped him, turned the light on, talked to him. And nothing. The poor little guy, he was sound asleep. And judging by his wandering eyes, perhaps having a dream about something wonderful!

But he soon recovered when he discovered his toy basket - full of little Kaiden toys to keep him entertained!

For Zoe!!

My first picture from PhotoShop, baby Kaiden :-)

Aren't you proud of me Zoe, I FINALLY got around to installing it...thanks for all your help...You rock!!!

I Am Completely Wisdom-Less Today...

I have just done a quick trip to the dentist. I am now missing $125 and a wisdom tooth. Oh hoo-freakin'-ray...Can't wait for the numbness to wear off :-(

**EDITED**

So six hours have passed now and the good stuff has officially worn off. On a scale of one to ten, ten being child birth, I give it an 8/8.5. It really really really really REALLY hurts. I want to cry. This sucks.

**EDITED AGAIN**

So another four hours have passed...and its pretty much not sore anymore! Yay! I doped myself up on the panadol (it says to take two but no one really does that...do they?!). So four hours and four panadol later I feel fine! I thought the panadol would have worn off by now so I'm crossing my fingers that this is really it and it isn't going to keep me up all night...we all know how much I love my sleep!
And I'd like to point out thought that, while I hate going to the dentist as a rule, I love my dentist! He is awesome! And for an oldy, not bad looking ;-) He told me he was going to "clean my tooth"...five minutes later I said that it wasn't sore anymore to which he replied "that's because I numbed it. I'm going to pull it out". I seriously didn't even feel him give me the needle! Amazing. Where was he when I was having my children?

Kaiden The Cow!

We bought this little costume for Kaiden, doesn't he look cute!

I am undecided as yet whether or not to have a dress-up party for Noah's birthday. It would be lots of fun but the way I see it - it's too cold for the kids to be dressed up and be outside, not to mention all the mud there is, so they would have to be inside. Ten or twelve little kids running rampant through my house. With my new carpet. And cake. Lots and lots of cake! So....my other idea was to not have a dress up party, just a themed party (perhaps Spiderman since he is the current favourite!) and have it in the shed. Then they can make as much mess as they want - it will hose off. But just in case, Kaiden has his costume all ready.

Check out the this one - possessed cow perhaps?!

Anvers...Yum Yum Yum!!!

Today we went to to Anvers Chocolate Factory - YUM!

Like Our Balloon Doggy??

During the rainy, rainy day yesterday Noah and I were bored. We were bored of being stuck inside with nothing to do. But mainly, we were bored with each other.

Noah was driving me INSANE with the "Hey Mum"'s...they were never ending. So we got out the craft stuff - we made a bridge, some fairies (Noah's idea, not mine!), a dinosaur and a boat for his Robot who we made a few weeks ago. A couple of hours later, I was sick of it. So out came the paints. Heaven! Noah did endless amounts of "twisters"...big thick swirly things with a LOT of black paint.
And to top off our creative afternoon, I made this balloon doggy. Yes, I actually made it! It took me about 20 minutes I reckon - how do those poeple at the fairs do it in 20 seconds??

Noah :-)

Worn Out!!

This is Kaiden yesterday. He was happily playing on the floor, the next thing I know he is asleep!

He rarely just passes out like this, usually he likes to be wrapped up and then he nods off. I thought he looked so cute, stretched out on the floor. But I didn't want to leave him there so I went to put him into bed...I could smell the nappy from across the room. So I layed out his blanket, lifted him onto it, took his clothes off, changed the nappy, did his singlet back up...and this is how he stayed!

I seriously checked to make sure he was still breathing! He didn't move a muscle. His eyes didn't flicker, he didn't make a sound. Gives a whole new meaning to "sleeping like a baby" don't you think?!

The "Best Big Brother Ever" Award Goes To...

NOAH!!

When he went to Launceston with Nanna Jill on Sunday, they came home with this little book for Kaiden. Noah insisted I make Kaiden sit next to him so he could read the book...isn't that so sweet :-)
